Tikitybu Organized

A gentle approach to rid your space of clutter and establish a plan to keep the peace.

The start of Tikitybu Organized
I am a Michigan native with an appreciation for all things tikitybu (my spelling).
The Oxford dictionary defines Tickety-boo (spelled correctly) as “in good order; fine”. It is a phrase that I grew up hearing tossed about within my Canadian family when they described a tidy space, or the individual who did the tidying of it.
I came to be known in my family as a person with a knack for organizing and making a space tikitybu. As a teenager it was frequently my pleasure to spend time with family and friends, decluttering, rearranging rooms, tidying and organizing.
Higher education held for me an early childhood education degree and a social work degree, both leading to job experience that allowed me to further hone organizational skills. Creating spaces for children to flourish transfers easily to creating spaces for everyone to feel ease in their environment. My social work skills include setting goals, identifying obstacles, and creating action steps, all of which pair well and strengthen tikitybu organized.
My approach to organizing includes developing an awareness and appreciation of each client’s unique style and stage in life, leading to practical organizational solutions to support the interests and needs of the person(s) who reside in the home.
When I am not working with clients, you will find me at times playing with the littles in my life, creating in my sewing studio, reading, enjoying delicious meals, or with my hands in the dirt.
